Pierre Clemens est un plasticien et compositeur belge né à Bruxelles en 1970.

Pour ce dernier opus, Geometry, il a rassemblé en dix titres, l’ensemble de ses inspirations sonores.
Venant au départ du monde des arts plastiques, il a, année après année, développé un ensemble de pratique compositionnelle basé sur des procédés aléatoires, des enregistrements de type Field recording et une sensibilité aux éléments ténus et une esthétique minimaliste. Autodidacte affirmé, ce passionné de musique nouvelle, pratique une recherche permanente et intense dans la construction d’un univers sonore singulier. Résolument expérimentale, ce travail évolue entre bruits et musicalité, dans un échange permanent et instable.

« Geometry » est un rappel à ce qui lui semble essentielle : le rapport de la musique et plus largement des phénomènes auditif avec la géométrie, sous tendu par les mathématiques. Les relations visible/audible sont un autre aspect de ses préoccupations.
